The Jazz Kitchen

Thirty Years and Counting

Thirty Years and Counting

As the stars align with Indianapolis’ first solar eclipse in 819 years, the Jazz Kitchen Experience embarks on our 30-year-anniversary. It is our commitment to make this the year of memorable jazz! For us this year, it’s all about giving – giving you unforgettable memories, exceptional jazz, and a reason to revel in the Jazz Kitchen Experience.

We’re amplifying the rhythm with the biggest version of the Indy Jazz Fest this year, promising an unmatched musical extravaganza. Keeping our tradition of exceptional jazz, we will present incredible performances by renowned artists that will deliver soul-stirring melodies. Along with expanding our Latin nights, we are keeping the excitement alive with various performance surprises throughout the year.

Additionally, our new, extensive menu of dishes and drinks are anticipated to invoke a culinary journey like never before, showcasing our dedication to not only your jazz experience, but your dining experience as well.

We are starting this January off strong with a remarkable Jazz Lineup that sets the stage for a melodious year ahead.

On Friday the 19th, we will have Tony Monaco, maybe the best organ player you have yet to hear, playing on arguably some of the hottest Hammond B-3 around. Mentored and inspired by the legendary Jimmy Smith, Monaco is known as both an artist and music educator around the entire globe.

On Saturday the 20th: The Tucker Brothers Group, a quartet with the mission to create positive and thoughtful instrumental music, often including a hint at a sound from the past, yet fully embracing the jazz culture of the present day.

For the last weekend of this month we present a truly talented singer: On Friday the 26th, we have Goldie Ingram, born and raised in Indianapolis. Ingrams voice and set list comes from her exposure to many different genres growing up as the youngest of 10 children: jazz, RnB, blues, rock, and country.

On Saturday the 27th, Duke Tumatoe, an American blues guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and showman. His work fuses gritty R&B, rock, blues, and funk, injected with equal parts humor and gut-level sincerity.

As we work towards upgrading your visit, secure your spot for our January Jazz Lineup now by purchasing tickets. Join us in celebrating our 30 years of commitment to excellence, where age is not just a number; it’s a testament to our continuous strive for improvement. Reserve your tickets today and start the year on a high note!
