Jazzing Up Outdoor Dining in Downtown Indianapolis
Maybe it’s the infamous Indianapolis winter that makes us really appreciate summertime and everything that comes with it. By the time the weather warms up, we’re ready to head outdoors to soak up the vitamin D with friends, great food, and of course — amazing music.
One of our favorite spots to amplify the vibes with sunshine is the deck and outdoor patio at The Jazz Kitchen, which opens its doors during the summer months to transform the corner of 54th and College into a one-of-a-kind outdoor dining spot. These days, it’s not a SoBro summer without an evening at the deck, taking in the best the neighborhood has to offer.

It’s why from May to October, you’ll find a little bit of everything at The Jazz Kitchen’s outdoor patio: Date night outings, happy hour revelry, and of course – nonstop music. Thursday nights feature live Latin bands.
Then there’s the food – an experience of its own. Our NOLA-inspired menu is loved by locals and visitors alike. Must-order items include the addictive Not-So-Cajun Chicken and the Crescent City Crab Cakes. If you’re here for cocktails and dessert, we’ve also got you covered: The white chocolate blueberry bread pudding and its decadent bourbon-infused caramel sauce is the perfect way to start – or end – your night.

So when you’re searching for great places in Indianapolis with dining and live music, The Jazz Kitchen’s patio is ready to help you create unforgettable memories and make your summer evenings unforgettable!
