Ages Minimums

The Jazz Kitchen is strictly 21+ with valid Government issued ID.

Food & Beverage Minimum

The Jazz Kitchen has a $15 per person, per show minimum. This can be food or beverage, and hopefully both. To see our current dinner menu, click HERE

Large Party / Special Event Auto-Gratuity

An automatic 20% gratuity will be added to large parties of 6 or more.

On select special events (eg Latin Dance Party, Valentine’s Weekend, New Year’s Eve, etc) we reserve the right to add a 20% gratuity to your food and beverage check.

Main Room VS Front Row VS Lounge Tickets

There are three main sections …
  – Main Room is the room where the stage is.
  – Front Row are the Front Row tables in the Main Room
  – Lounge / Bar Tickets are NOT in the same room as the stage. These tickets are generally discounted and DO NOT have a view of the stage. The music will be played on the sound system.

Box Office Hours

Our box office hours are: Monday-Saturday 1p-9p
(closed at 5p on Tuesday’s & Thursday’s) – Times may vary depending on the night’s entertainment.

Joining Tables

We ask that you first purchase your tickets, then call us at 317-253-4900 to let us know the names of your party. We will do our best to accommodate your request but due to the size of the room we recommend getting your requests in as early as possible.

Dinner Reservations

Once you purchase your tickets you are set for a dinner reservation. Remember we have a $15 food & beverage minimum per person, per show.

Arrival Times

We recommend arriving as early as possible. You will have more choice of seating and it makes for a more leisurely, smoother experience. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to show time.

Dinner Service

The kitchen opens at 5p (6p on Thursday’s) There a few exceptions from time to time, especially when we have earlier Sunday shows.

Generally, the kitchen will close 1 hour into the last show. We serve dessert throughout the shows.

We can only guarantee seats for the the first 20 minutes of the show. If you're running late, call us at 317-253-4900.

Free Events

Reservations for our free events like our Monday Night Jazz Jam are walk-in, general admission basis. If you have a party of 6 or more we would like to know. Please call us at 317-253-4900.

Ticket Refunds

We have a NO REFUND policy for ticket purchases. If you give us 48 hours of notice we can often re-sell tickets. Once sold we will refund your ticket price minus ticket fees. We make no promises. Call 317-253-4900 after 1p Monday-Saturday.

3rd Party Ticket Sellers
Beware, the only official tickets we accept are sold through www.thejazzkitchen.com or through our box office.

How soon do I have to leave after the show.

 – First Show visitors, you are welcome to stay for the second show if space is available in the main room. We also our lounge if space is available for a nightcap or to extend you stay.

  – Second Show visitors, we generally start closing after the band stops but the bar stays open 30 minutes after the last show for a nightcap

The night often changes based on the night’s entertainment. Ask your server or host.

Carry-out Food and Beverages

We are open for carryout food and bottled beverages after 5p, Friday-Wednesday  and after 6p on Thursday nights.

Parking

Street parking is your best bet. We recommend between 53rd and 54th Street on College Avenue or going East on 54th Street from the corner of 54th & College Avenue.

Please DO NOT park at the Fresh Market lot before 9p and never in the Fresh Market upstairs parking deck.

The IndyGo Red Line has a bus stop right here at the corner of 54th & College Avenue.
